Breckenridge Ski Resort Friday opened upper-mountain lifts the T-Bar and 6 Chair, just in time for this weekend. The resort credits ”remarkable effort by the Breckenridge Ski Patrol“ to get the additional 250 acres of advance terrain open.

The ski area has seen 14 inches of new snow in the past seven days and recently opened the E-Chair.

The National Weather Service forecasts up to 10 new inches to fall over the weekend in Breckenridge. A chance of snow continues into next week with a low pressure system moving through Colorado.
