There has been a fantastic addition to the sports/culture/arts scene in Breckenridge —the Metropolitan Opera in live HD broadcast at the very charming Finkel auditorium at Colorado Mountain College. Last Saturday’s performance was the six-hour Wagner’s “Gotterdammerung,” which sped by like a two-hour performance because of the singer’s expertise/beauty, theatrics, huge sets and exquisite costumes. The lead tenor playing Siegfried was a handsome Texas hunk, Brunnhilde was played by an outstanding, gorgeous actress with extraordinary pipes, plus three gorgeous gamboling/singing Rhinemaidens ... toi, toi, toi!
