Radio station 97.3 KBCO will conduct four online auctions this Friday with the goal of raising additional funds for disaster relief efforts in southeast Asia. All of the funds raised will help the victims of the tsunami. The auction will take place online at www.kbco.com. Bidding begins at $100 and final bids are tax deductible. All funds raised will be donated to UNICEF to aid victims of the tsunami disaster.
From 6-10 a.m., listeners can bid on the opportunity to join Bret Saunders, host of the KBCO Morning Show, on a trip to Miami see the opening night of U2's How to Dismantle An Atomic Bomb tour. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., listeners will be able to bid on the entire KBCO Studio C CD Collection, including the rare box set of volumes 1 - 10. Plus, this winner will join Ginger for a KBCO Studio C Session and will even help her with the interview.
From 3-7 p.m., a trip to the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival will be on the auction block. One listener and guest will head to the Silvertree Lodge in Aspen/Snowmass with Oz for some side splitting comedy as Cheech and Chong reunite for the first time in 20 years. From 7-11 p.m., Keefer will be putting one of his most coveted items on the auction block, a guitar autographed by Mick Jagger. Plus, this winner will have the opportunity to assist Keefer in the recording studio during a KBCO Studio C Session.
