Just fed up, not whining

Print Comment
Upon reading John Schuette's Feb. 4 letter, I realized I've finally heard enough. Political rhetoric from both sides has spiraled entirely out of control in our so-called democracy, but the Republicans, as usual, are carrying the day.

Some of Mr. Schuette's comments were ridiculous even for a radical Republican.

"Let Bush continue to succeed." At what? Getting thousands of people, both military and civilians killed for reasons that have been proven entirely incorrect? Big success there. Great job Mr. Prez.

Let's see what else. Bringing the country to a never-before-seen height of political and social polarization? He sure is a uniter, not a divider. What a guy. I could go on, but why bother. The proof was in the State of the Union speech.

Do you really believe the elections in Iraq are free and fair? If so, you must be entirely blinded by the light of your love for a right-wing religious nut that used his family's financial clout to cheat his way into the position of leader of the free world.

At least Sen. John Kerry can see through the smoke and mirrors. What is wrong with the rest of us?

Where have you gone, Mr. Clinton? I for one sure miss some hanky panky in the Oval Office being our leader's worst offense.

And for the record, I'm not a Democrat and I'm definitely not whining.
