COPPER MOUNTAIN - Hip-hop, Latin groove band Ozomatli is set to headline Saturday, Nov. 5, at Copper's Lift-Off in celebration of the ski resort's opening Nov. 4.
Michael Glabicki of Rusted Root will be the opener at 8 p.m. for the paid concert at the Conference Center.
Ozomatli goes on at 10 p.m.

Backstage Theatre holds Christmas show auditions
Auditions for the original production of "A Backstage Christmas Carol" by Andrew Shoffner will be held from 4-7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Breckenridge Theatre, located at 121 S. Ridge St. in Breckenridge.
The following roles are available:
Terrence - Director and star of the show, would rather be doing another show, 30s to 60s.
Ned - Genial oaf, small bag of tricks, loves pratfalls, 30s to 40s.
Maxine - Local diva who will play anything, dramatic and always ailing but a trouper, 30s to 40s.
Doug - Older juvenile, married to Barbara, 20s to 30s.
Barbara - Older ingenue, married to Doug, 20s to 30s.
Cory - Angry actress, dumped by Terrence the night before this performance, late 20s to 30s.
TJ - Dependable, put-upon stage manager, taxed by this evening's performance, any age.
Auditions will consist mainly of cold readings from the script, but those auditioning are encouraged to have prepared a two-minute, non-dramatic monologue.
No scripts are available for perusal.
Rehearsals are set to begin in early November. Production dates are Dec. 21-24.
No appointment is necessary.
