GOLDEN - Five teens could face felony arson and other charges in a 2,700-acre wildfire near Arvada, sheriff's investigators said Wednesday.
Jonathan Northhaft, 19, Brandon Busby, 18, Joshua Grenberg, 18, and two 17-year-olds whose names were not released are considered suspects in the Jan. 10 fire, investigators said in a press release.
All could face charges of felony fourth-degree arson and misdemeanor charges of firing woods and prairies, defacing property and third-degree trespass, investigators said.
The fire forced the evacuation of about 130 homes and was fought by more than 200 firefighters. The estimated cost was $187,000.
