Local real estate agent just back from conference for ‘luxury’ property sellers
Jo Ellen Nash, President of Nash and Company Real Estate in Edwards, joined 150 other real estate agents who specialize in high-end real estate at the CKG Mastery Weekend in Hollywood, Fla.
While attending the conference, Nash heard from some of the most knowledgeable experts in the industry about new sales and marketing tools. Membership in CKG is based on an agent’s track record, sales volume and commitment to their clients.
“By arming real estate’s finest with the secrets to becoming more efficient and to making more money, the Mastery Weekends enhance not just one’s career but also his or her overall quality of life,” said Ken Goodfellow, chairman and CEO of CKG International.

Annual Salvation Army golf tourney is June 12 at the Red Sky Ranch course in Wolcott
The Vail Valley Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Golf Tournament is June 12 at the Red Sky Golf Club in Wolcott.
The shotgun start is at 1:30 p.m. The practice range opens at 11 a.m. with the folks from Ascent Physical Therapy on hand giving stretching exercises. The annual tournament raises money for the local chapter of the Salvation Army, which does everything from helping people with rent, emergency shelter and utilities to the hundreds of food baskets volunteers put together at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Local Salvation Army volunteers also run the Adopt-a-Family Program at Christmas.
The early summer golf tournament already has a reputation as a dandy event, and participants wear red to support the Salvation Army. The $200-per-person registration fee also includes dinner.
In addition, the popular “salvation putts” will be back this year and the Hole-In-One contest gives you the opportunity to win a car provided by HM Brown in Denver! This is one of the Vail Valley Salvation Army’s biggest fundraisers and your support is needed. All playing abilities, both men and women are welcome.
For more information about the Red Kettle Golf Tournament, call Tsu at (970) 926-3704.
