The 19th annual Colorado Theatre Festival was held last weekend in Idaho Springs. Well over a hundred people, representing theatre companies and patrons from all over the state, enjoyed the many fine performances. It was a true celebration of excellence in theatre.
The Backstage Theatre of Breckenridge presented Crazy Bag, an autobiographical play written and performed by Murphy Funkhouser. The performance earned Best Director honors for the Backstage Artistic Director, Christopher Willard, Best Set Award for Todd Briney and All State Acting recognition for Murphy Funkhouser.
