FRISCO A doctor specializing in spinal disorders will be starting Monday at the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic, treating patients in Summit and Eagle counties.
Dr. Dhruv Pateder has a particular interest in cervical, thoracic and lumbar disorders and their treatment using both traditional and newer minimally invasive techniques that allow patients to return to normal activity as soon as possible, according to a press release. Additionally, he has experience with spinal problems in younger, athletic patients.

Dr. Pateders work has been published in multiple peer reviewed journals and he regularly presents on different aspects of spinal care at both domestic and international medical conferences.
Pateder completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md., and finished a combined neurosurgery and orthopaedic spinal surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He has been involved with both basic science and patient outcomes research and has received numerous awards for his work.
