If anyone says Summit County is full of laid back people, they may be right, but not when it comes to business — there’s plenty of competition, and locals have plenty of opinions on how businesses measure up. This year, we received 2,526 ballots — that’s 986 more votes than last year — from folks who took the time to vote for theBest of Summit.

They voted on 107 categories, from the best beer to the best hiking trail. We know not
everyone will agree on the choices, so if you’re one of the folks who were left out of this year’s selection, remember: We do this every year. You have 365 days to become, well, the best at anything you want. And a word to noncompetitors: You have a lifetime to enjoy all of Summit’s best. So get out there!
