Coming Monday: Gold mine, a series

When the Blue River turned bright orange for a few hours last year, it was the first time many people realized that the bustling gold and silver mines of yesteryear still have a tangible impact on day-to-day life in Summit County. And with mining stories taking center stage across the country, we decided to look at our county's mining legacy, and how it impacts our quality of life - and Summit's future economy. We will start the four-part series on Monday.
