Print Comment
DENVER - Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter will testify before a House committee on global warming in Washington on Thursday.

Ritter, a Democrat who has pushed to make renewable energy a bigger part of the state's economy, will also participate in a panel discussion on the "Greening of America" sponsored by the Alliance to Save Energy.

He will later accept a public service award from the alliance on behalf of the Western Governors Association.

Ritter's House testimony will be before the House Select Committee on Renewable Energy and Global Warming.
