DENVER Developers proposing a huge ski village at the base of a remote ski area in southwest Colorado have suffered another court setback.
The Colorado Court of Appeals upheld a lower court ruling that voided Mineral Countys approval of the project at the Wolf Creek resort.
Two environmental groups and the operators of the ski area had accused the county of being a rubber stamp for Texas billionaire developer Red McCombs.
The courts ruled that when Mineral County approved the project, it didnt follow a state law requiring year-round access for wheeled vehicles.
