Print Comment
DENVER — Senate President, Joan Fitz-Gerald, D-Coal Creek Canyon, called a press conference this morning to discuss her political future.
The press conference is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the state Capitol.
Local Democratic sources say Fitz-Gerald, who represents Summit County, will resign from the state legislature to concentrate on her bid for a seat in the U.S. Congress.
Fitz-Gerald is running to replace Rep. Mark Udall in the 2nd Congressional District.
