Special to the Daily
BRECKENRIDGE — Lyricist and DJ duo Eyedea & Abilities are on tour after a three-year break working on solo projects and other endeavors. Eyedea, aka Micheal Larsen, said this time around, his words are “just more mature.”

“There’s less experimenting with things that aren’t really ourselves,” Eyedea said.

“Ten years ago, I was not always being true to what I thought. The older you get, the more you funnel down the world and have a better idea of what it is and what you are in it.”

He said he and DJ Ability, aka Max Keltgen, are currently exploring how they are creating music together nowadays.

They play at Sherpa & Yeti’s in Breckenridge on Saturday and will perform “stuff off of every record” along with new material and a lot of improv.

Sector 7g and Abzorbr will also perform. Tickets are $15 in advance.
