BRECKENRIDGE Breckenridge police arrested two Texas residents after they allegedly were found with 13 snowboards and three pairs of skis that did not belong to them, police say.
Wednesday morning, Breckenridge police responded to a call just outside Pine Ridge Condominiums at 400 Four OClock Road to mediate a disturbance between ski and snowboard theft victims and possible suspects, according to a press release issued by Breckenridge police.
Police arrived on the scene to find a White Toyota Tundra carrying snowboards and skis that did not belong to the six male occupants in the vehicle.
Police arrested the two alleged thieves, Aaron David Fritsch, 22, and Drew Allen Fritsch, 19, both of Del Rio, Texas. The two men have been charged with Class 4 Felony Theft and Second Degree Criminal Trespass.
They are being held at the Summit County Jail and a bond has been set for $7,500 each.
