SUMMIT COUNTY The Summit County Sheriffs Office has arrested Eric Taylor of Ridgely, Tenn., in connection with an alleged sexual assault that took place at a bar in Keystone on Saturday.
According to the Sheriffs Office, the assault occurred around 1 a.m. Sunday morning and police were able to locate and pick up Taylor around 5 a.m.
The victim, whose name is not being released due to the nature of the charges, was transferred to the Summit County Medical Center in Frisco for treatment after the incident. The assault is now an open investigation and police are conducting interviews with witnesses and employees from the bar.
Police would not identify the name of the bar due to the ongoing investigation.
Taylor is being held in the Summit County Jail on charges of 1st Degree Sexual Assault, with a bond set in the amount of $25,000.
Additional misdemeanor charges include False Imprisonment, Menacing/Intimidation, and 3rd Degree Assault. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 22.
