On Feb. 3, the Carter Museum will close its doors in preparation for a major rehabilitation. When the museum reopens in May 2009, the public can expect to see a significant transformation, which will include structural changes, new exhibits, and interactive learning stations for people of all ages. Celebrate the old museum and the kickoff to the rehabilitation during closing weekend, Feb. 1-3. Drinks and snacks will be provided each day.
Take this opportunity see the old museum one last time and learn more about this exciting project. The museum will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with free admission.
