LOVELAND SKI AREA - Team Summit athletes fared well at the YSL championships last weekend at Loveland Ski Area. The past two years the local club has placed third at the competition, but this year it was all Team Summit. Champions of their age divisions included Tegan Wold (J7 girls), Peyton Brones (J7 boys), Lindsey Reich (J6 girls), Lily Koral (J3 girls), and Eric Kishbaugh (J3 boys). Of the eight teams present, Team Summit won six age divisions, SCV won four, Eldora three, WPK two, QSC two, VDT two and an independent team won one. Team Summit placed fourth overall in the seasons series, which was won by Ski Club Vail. Awards were given to the top overall three athletes in each age division. (Each athlete's five best results were tallied). Top Team Summit athletes included Wold (YSL gold - J7 girls), Kaitlyn Harsch (YSL bronze - J7 girls), Koral (YSL bronze - J3 girls) and Brones (YSL gold - J7 Boys).
