The Breckenridge Heritage Alliance is asking for public input on the design of the new Edwin Carter Museum and Interactive Learning Center in Breckenridge.
The Carter Museum - the oldest permanent museum in Colorado - is currently undergoing a rehabilitation and will re-open to the public in the spring of 2009. The design firm, Exhibit Design Associates (EDA), has been selected to plan, design and fabricate new exhibits for the museum.
The general public is invited to participate in a planning workshop with EDA on Thursday, April 3, to brainstorm the major themes and exhibit concepts of the new museum.
The workshop will be from 3:30-5 p.m. at the Breckenridge Police Station on Valley Brook Road. R.S.V.P. if you would like to attend by calling Beth Johnson at (970) 453-4493 or by e-mailing beth@breckheritage.com.
