As many are aware, last Sunday was operation for Kinderhut Children’s Center. I am writing to thank the incredible community of Breckenridge for all the love and support I have received the past 23 years as a both a resident and as director of Kinderhut. I have built a lifetime of friendships and wonderful memories that I will carry with me wherever I go.

I also want to take the opportunity to thank the town of Breckenridge and Vail Resorts for recognizing the valuable services that Kinderhut provided and working to ensure that alternate services were put into place before our doors close. This was a true community effort and shows what can be accomplished when we all work together. I am honored to have been a part of such a close, caring community.

Special thanks to the entire Kinderhut family. You exemplify what family is all about and made coming to “work” a true joy. As new adventures unfold for me, Breckenridge will always hold a very special place in my heart. I look forward to creating more memories as we continue to call Breckenridge our home away from home.
