Services today for Green-Gaita

Robin Lynn Green-Gaita, age 47, passed away unexpectedly on April 23. She had been a resident of Palmer Lake since 2001.

Robin is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Jim and her wonderful son, Jaxon, age 14. Also surviving are her mother, Rosalie Green and her brothers, Rick and Rory Green. Robin was born in Bennington, Vt., and grew up there.

She built a career in the advertising sales field recently working for Tri Lakes Printing in the publishing of The Image magazine, as well as other advertising publications. Prior to that, she established Automarketing, a business that specialized in advertising for the used car inventories of many front-range dealerships. While in Summit County she worked for Copper Mountain Resort, Beaver Run Resort, and the Summit Daily News.

Robin was an avid photographer, gardener, physical fitness and outdoor enthusiast. She also enjoyed hiking, cross country skiing, and roller blading. Her greatest passion was for horses. She loved caring for and riding them, especially Lad, Pepper, and Rio.

Robin will be missed by many people because of her vibrant, enthusiastic and energetic personality. Business associates will miss her attention to detail, conscientious attitude, and driven work ethic. Friends and family will miss her kind, loving, and caring disposition. Her heartbroken son and husband will just, plain miss her!

There will be a memorial service today at 6 p.m. at The Little Log Church, 133 High St., Palmer Lake, Colo. A reception will follow at La Casa Fiesta, 230 Front St., Monument, Colo.

In view of Robin's love for horses, she would be pleased if in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Robin L. Green-Gaita Fund at the Monument branch of First Bank. Proceeds from which will benefit Hope Foal Project.
