FAIRPLAY — The internationally acclaimed Colorado Children’s Chorale will perform a free concert at the Edith Teter Elementary School in Fairplay on Thursday beginning at 6:30 p.m. through the Breckenridge Music Festival.
The performance highlights the exuberant and energetic style of the Colorado Children’s Chorale’s vocal harmonies and choreography. It’s 90-minute concerts redefine choral music with eclectic repertoire ranging from classic to contemporary, folk to art song and musical theater.
The Colorado Children’s Chorale will also conduct an in-school workshop for local Park County youth during the day on Thursday. The workshop is designed to develop performance skills such as singing, dancing, acting, and stage movement. One of the highlights of the concert will be the participation of Park County students who will show off their new skills on stage with the Colorado Children’s Chorale during part of evening’s concert.
