Thirty-five persons representing Rocky Mountain Bible Church in Frisco returned June 19 from a two-week missions trip to Uganda and will be sharing their experiences with the community at a free presentation at 7 p.m. Sunday, July 20, at 600 Main Street in Frisco.
The presentation will include photos, video clips and stories from the team members. The group from RMBC traveled to Uganda to share their faith in two villages near Mbale, Uganda.
Each team member travelled separately with a local translator to visit with the Ugandan people in their homes. Prior to the trip, the church congregation sent funds to the villages to build a church building and associated facilities at each location.
The team also visited schools and prisons in the areas, conducted hygiene training and helped locals with well drilling. This the second trip to Uganda sponsored by RMBC, which is a non-denominational, Bible-teaching church. For more information, call the church office at (970) 668-3395.
