Print Comment
The Free Family Fun Fest in Frisco offers free fun for families in Summit County on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Frisco Peninsula Recreation Area. Families will enjoy free activities such as quad bungee jumper, train ride, bouncy castles, inflatable obstacle course, big, inflatable slide, the Creative Cabinetry inflatable Drekko tunnel, FIRC dunk tank, emergency services vehicles, Wizard of Oz characters from the Backstage Theatre, live music, face painting, arts and crafts, and more. Bring money for food, beverages from the Backcountry Brewery Beer Garden, and goods from the vendors.

Children have the opportunity to learn about the importance of emergency services in our community, how to call 911 in case of an emergency and how to “Stop, Drop, and Roll”. The Free Family Fun Fest in Frisco is also an opportunity to sign children up for after-school activities such as High Country Soccer, Summit School of Dance, Rocky Mountain Dance Academy, Quantum Sports and Team Summit. Afterwards, stay in Frisco for Music on Main Street with free live music from Blue Oyster Cult.

The Free Family Fun Fest in Frisco is presented by Hudson Auto Source and sponsored by Keystone Resort, Peek-A-Boo Toys, Renewal By Andersen, the Family Intercultural Resource Center (FIRC), and the Town of Frisco. For more information, call (970) 453-2234, or visit www.kcmvradio.com.
