Independent filmmaker Patti Divita was back on The Summit not long ago. She had been to New Zealand and just loved the place.

A waitress who churned out an “indy” film, “Did I Say Thousand Island?” starring Jaime Foard, Rado Bily, and Amy Russo, Patti still rides a motorcycle, her horse, and now plans to settle in Canada — for a while.

The film also features music by local favorites Nancy Cook and Leon “The Chief” Littlebird.
