I would think that with the economic situation in our nation, Vail Resorts would be lowering daily lift ticket prices instead of increasing them. There are many people who would love to go skiing but can’t afford multiple-day lift tickets, and the price of single-day tickets are out of reach for them. They continue to raise prices, and the only way to get deals is buying multiple days which are not always an option for skiers. Also there are skiers who only want to go to one specific ski area and do not want to buy tickets to other ski areas to get a deal.
VR is only hurting themselves by increasing daily prices out of reach for many potential
skiers and, therefore, also hurting the economy for all of Summit County.
