BLACK HAWK Residents in the mountain town of Black Hawk have voted in favor of increasing the amount of bets and allowing 24-hour gambling at its casinos.
City spokesman Jim Licko says residents approved the measure Tuesday on a vote of 54-6.
The measure also allows casinos in Black Hawk to add craps and roulette and raise the stakes from $5 to $100. Licko says the provisions will take effect in July.
