The 9th annual Safe Summer Kick Off will be held on Saturday, June 6, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Silverthorne Elementary School, which is a new location for this event.
This event is sponsored by the Silverthorne Police Department and other emergency service agencies in Summit County. This event is a great way to kick off the summer, by providing education and equipment to keep children safe for the summer. There will be free giveaways of safety equipment, free fingerprinting for children, helmet decorating, a bike rodeo, music and fun activities, and a chance to take a tour of emergency service vehicles and equipment. There will be a car seat inspection area to check for proper fit and safety by certified technicians. With a donation, new car seats will be available.

El noveno Safe Summer Kick Off se llevara a cabo el sábado, 6 de Junio, de las 11 a.m. a las 2 p.m. en el Silverthorne Elementary School. Este es un nuevo sitio para el evento.
