Dan Dano Dantes
A celebration of the life of Dan Dano Dantes, who passed away on May 11, will
take place on June 14 at his home in Montezuma, beginning at 1 p.m.
Dan was born and raised in Sandusky, Ohio. He fell in love with Colorado while serving in the Air Force at Lowry Air Force Base, and remained in Denver until moving to Montezuma in 1994. Dano was a tireless advocate for Montezuma, serving on the town board and actively assisting with such issues as the water and fire hydrant projects. On a less serious side, he was a driving force behind the annual Montezuma Z Games, and every year was one of the guys with a torch, lighting up the sky with those amazing Fourth of July fireworks displays.
Dano will be greatly missed by his family, his neighbors, his family of co-workers at About Plumbing & Heating, and his many friends in Summit County. Please join us on June 14 (his birthday) to celebrate a life well lived. (This will be an outdoor event, so dont wear your best shoes.)
