The Colorado Municipal League's Towns Make It Possible campaign is designed to help municipalities raise community awareness about the value of municipal government.
One element of this campaign is CML's annual “If I Were Mayor….” essay contest, in which we ask seventh grade students to write essays based on the topic “If you were Mayor, how would you explain the value of municipal government to kids in your community?”. This year was a huge success - we received more than 600 essays from seventh graders statewide, including submissions from Frisco!
