PARK COUNTY — Work is under way on a Colorado Department of Transportation project paving project from just north of Alma to near the top of Hoosier Pass. In addition to paving, the project includes striping and edge drain installation.
Drivers can expect delays up to 10 minutes as flaggers alternate one lane of traffic through the work zone from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to noon on Fridays. The speed limit will be reduced to 40 mph through the area during project hours.
Pavetec, Inc., of Silverthorne is the contractor for the $626,000 project. It is scheduled for completion by the end of October.
