BRECKENRIDGE — The Breckenridge Recreation Center's annual closure is scheduled from Oct. 12 through Oct. 18. It will reopen on Oct. 19.
According to an e-mail notice sent to rec pass holders, while maintenance is done on the fitness center, Breckenridge Recreation Center passes will be honored by the Silverthorne Recreation Center.
The Breckenridge rec center will also be getting new equipment installed, including one Matrix treadmill, three upright cybex bikes, three recumbent cybex bikes, two octane elipticals and strength training equipment.
For the swimmers out there — the aquatics area at the Breckenridge Recreation Center has fully reopened after a summer of maintenance work. Everything can be used now, including the leisure area, the lap pool and the indoor hot tup. The next swim lesson session will start by the end of October.
