CampExperience raises $23,000 for Denver Rescue Mission, Alliance of Professional Women Foundation

COPPER MOUNTAIN- Last month nearly 200 women from around the country raised more than $23,000 for the Denver Rescue Mission and the Alliance of Professional Women Foundation while attending CampExperience at Copper Mountain.

Funds raised include: $5,000 from the Gay and Lesbian Fund for Colorado, grants from Mile High United Way and the Women's Foundation of Colorado, and almost $6,000 from onsite cash donations. Activities, like personal services and the unique Bow-tique shopping, raised nearly $10,000. Numerous donations were also collected for the Denver Rescue Mission.

"We are devoted to helping women in all areas of their lives," said camp instructor and participant Char Bloom. "That kind of support is life changing for us all."
