Born on July 17, 1933, Bob Jenkins passed away Oct. 9, at his home of natural causes. Bob built his home in Dillon 30 years ago with his wife Bev Jenkins.
Born in Nepesta, Colorado, Bob raised his family in Arvada. Bob has two children. Janice Drake, a longtime resident of Dillon, and his son Lyle (Diane) Jenkins currently reside in Morrison.
Also surviving Bob is his sister Ruth Ann Brett of Arvada, and his mother Ernestine Jenkins, 94, of Wheat Ridge. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Abbie Jenkins from Alaska, Matt Jenkins from Denver, Sarah Jenkins from Sheridan, Theodore Johnson from Centennial, Terrel Lindsay from Dillon and Chelsea Lindsay who also resides in Dillon. Bob also has two great grandchildren, Alora and Annika from Alaska. Bob was a retired IBEW local 68 electrician.
Open house will be held for family and friends on Oct. 17 at
1 pm at 1294 Straight Creek Drive, Dillon Valley.
