Cowboy Norstrom of Alma died Oct. 19. Loving husband and best friend of Linda Proud, father of Jake and Jess, son of Cark D. and Sonja Nordstrom, nephew of Kirk and Marilyn. Cowboy and his family have lived in the Alma area for over 20 years. He founded Cowboy Mechanical, which served the community for the last decade. After a long fight with illness, he is finally at peace. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. The family requested an account be set up for the children at the Colorado East Bank & Trust in Fairplay. A celebration will be held on Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Alma Town Hall at noon.
