I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped make my recent retrospective photo exhibit at the Silverthorne Pavilion a huge success. It was overwhelming to see the number of people from the community in attendance for the three-day event, especially Wednesday evening, to come out and revisit images of people and events from the past 20 years. It was wonderful to see so many smiles and emotions over the course of the evening.
I would also like to thank the Town of Silverthorne, including Len Anderson, Blair Lollis and Christine Mahorney in helping to put together and host the event. To Gilchrist Catering for its always wonderful appetizers. And to Jim Morgan, Alex Miller, Matt Sandberg and Maggie Butler with the Summit Daily News who helped make it happen. With the 20th anniversary of the SDN this year, everything fell into place for a fun event.
This is a great community we live in and I am proud to have been a part of it the past 20 years.
