How about an exit? The first and last impressions are the most important. At least that's what the YMCA camp I attended in Minnesota thought. (The first and last meals were memorable — for one big parental reason.)
If that be true, maybe we should “dress up” the departure view as people exit Silverthorne and enter the I-70 on ramp.
How about a dike around the swamp and creating a memorable view of an attractive lake and waterfall from Straight Creek?
Maybe the town could even capture the hydroelectric power. (The TVA was run efficiently, helped the area economically, and was profitable much to the Republicans' chagrin.)
