Frisco resident Johnny Welsh is on a mission in Summit County to collect coats, which he will in turn take down to the Denver Rescue Mission over the next six weeks. Welsh is set to take the first load to the mission Saturday with hopes of having more than 100 coats collected. There are two drop-off locations in Summit Welsh is working with, one being Bagalis Restaurant on Main Street Frisco and The Edge in Copper Mountain. Collections will continue through Dec 30 for anyone wishing to donate coats for the needy. Welsh is working with his wife, Luana, on the project through Transformation.com
