BRECKENRIDGE — Breckenridge Ski Resort plans to have Peak 9 open for skier services with expanded terrain by Thanksgiving weekend.

The Quicksilver Super6 chair and 121 acres of additional terrain are to be available, with access between Peaks 8 and 9, according to a press release from the resort.

Peak 8 skiable terrain is to expand as well, with the Snow Flake lift joining the Colorado Super Chair, Rocky Mountain Super Chair, Rip's Ride and Chair 5, which are already open on Peak 8. The SnowFlake lift is to be open for access only.

This weekend's terrain openings will bring total skiable acreage at the resort to 302.

Peak 9 services available by this weekend are to include on-mountain dining at Ten Mile Station and the Maggie, with full base area services.

Ski and Ride school terrain off the Quicksilver Super6 chair is to be open as well.
