This letter is to express my thanks to Summit County Public Health for offering H1N1 vaccine to our community's children, and to administer it free of charge. That was truly amazing.
However, I would also like to express my disappointment to the Colorado Department of Health that teachers are not in the recently expanded and eligible priority group to receive the vaccine. Not only are they truly critical in our society, but are they not more suceptible than most of us because of being around children all day, every day. Without them we would be lost.
