Kansas, Colorado officials close Interstate 70 near Kan. border

TOPEKA, Kan. - Kansas transportation officials have closed Interstate 70 from Burlington to the Colorado border due to adverse weather.

Kansas Department of Transportation 511 assistant coordinator Chris Hess says I-70 is closed from Burlington to Limon, Colo. He says the alert will probably remain in place for 24 hours.
