DURANGO — A woman whose body was found in a car that went 550 feet off a cliff in southwest Colorado was from Las Vegas.

Authorities say 43-year-old Antonetta Massey was driving a 1995 dark-gray, four-door Lexus with Nevada license plates on Coal Bank Pass. The car was found Sunday at the bottom of an embankment near a spot where drivers can pull off to view Twilight Peak.

Investigators suspect the car went off the cliff sometime between noon Jan. 8 and Jan. 9. They are trying to determine where Massey was in the hours before the crash and how the crash occurred.
