Two people sustained minor injuries at about 6 p.m. on Thursday after two minivans collided near the Interstate 70 scenic overlook between Frisco and Silverthorne, according to trooper Mike Kerley with the Colorado State Patrol. The blue Dodge Grand Caravan traveling westbound on I-70 slid down the median before colliding with a white Dodge Caravan. At least two Lake Dillon Fire-Rescue engines and two Summit County Ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
