BRECKENRIDGE — A single-family home at the Breckenridge Golf Club is to be one of seven nationwide residences to be auctioned March 19 by Sheldon Good and Company.
“The one-day auction is part of the Chapter 7 bankruptcy liquidation of High Country Club — one of the country's largest members-only destination clubs focused on popular resort markets,” according to a press release.
Other homes in the auction are in vacation and second-home communities of California, Florida and New York City, with original purchase prices ranging from $690,000 to more than $1 million.
Suggested opening bids are to start as low as $150,000 “and will be sold absolute, regardless of price,” according to the press release.
The auction is to occur at 1 p.m. MST at the Denver Marriott City Center at 1701 California Street in Denver.
Bidders may also participate via real-time Internet bidding through Proxibid.
Viewing dates are scheduled through February and much of March.
