I'd like to personally and openly thank Representative Polis and others for voting in favor of the bill reforming health care and health insurance. This is a huge step toward American citizens taking care of their health and holding insurance companies accountable.

Having been self-employed for 15 years, it's become more and more difficult to afford health insurance and health care. Just this year our premiums went up 25 percent! My hope is that this legislation will, at the least, curb the increases.
