BRECKENRIDGE
T Bar Base of Peak 8, inside One Ski Hill Place Named for the resort's legendary surface lift to Horseshoe Bowl and other advanced terrain, the T Bar off ers an energetic atmosphere and great Southwestern style appetizers. Come in on Sundays for football and music by Summit County's legendary DJ DC.
THE DRAW: All the energy and sophistication of a city bar, but you can practically ski up to the front door. Great view of the slopes.
Coppertop
Lounge & Cafe, Beaver Run- Unpretentious and slopeside, Coppertop is a great place to bring big groups for pub-style food at a relatively reasonable price for an on-mountain joint. Drinks are still on the expensive side, but bartenders off er specialty cocktails that are fun to experiment with, as well as a great selection of adult warm beverages. THE DRAW: Live après music featuring Th e Swing Crew Band, an interactive acoustic group that mixes humor with music. Th e band plays Coppertop on specifi c dates throughout the spring.
The Maggie
Base of Peak 9 by the Quicksilver Super Chair, The Maggie promises entertainment, drink specials and great appetizers. THE DRAW: Check out the new beef, chicken and seafood sliders, available from 3-5 p.m.
Seven's
Peak 7- Seven's at Peak 7 is higher end on-mountain dining and like many resort base restaurants, it's on the pricey side, but the casual sit-down restaurant off ers up a great menu in a warm lodge atmosphere of understated mountain elegance. THE DRAW: A family friendly spot and a diverse menu, including Asian, American and Mediterranean food.
Park Avenue Pub
Base of Peak 9, in the Village at Breckenridge- A great stop for groups looking to keep the fun going after leaving the hill, the Park Avenue Pub off ers a traditional, intimate atmosphere. Linger over appetizers and happy hour drinks after skiing, as the bar is open late. THE DRAW: A great selection of microbrews, wines and spirits and the option to turn a few post-ski drinks into a night out without getting any more snow on your boots.
Quandary Grille
Also at the base of Peak 9 sits a high energy bar that combines high-end cuisine in its restaurant, which perfectly situates itself in line with the ski area and Maggie Pond, for the best views, with an après and sports bar feel as you walk in. THE DRAW: Happy hour specials include $3 house wines, $3 wells, beer specials and two-for-one appetizers. It also has fl at-screen TVs to showcase its NFL Ticket coverage.
Tiffany's Sports Pub
Base of Peak 9- Tiff any's is a great location to unwind with a beer and watch the game on one of its big screen TVs. You'll fi nd games, entertainment and daily drink specials when the lifts shut down. THE DRAW: Casual atmosphere and sports on the big screen.
Base Nine Bar
For a more urban experience, try the Base 9 Bar, a new hot spot with a contemporary atmosphere. THE DRAW: Championship pool tables and a martini menu just waiting to be explored.
COPPER MOUNTAIN
Jill's Umbrella Bar On those irresistible warm, clear spring days, you don't have to head inside just because the lifts are closed. Stay out and enjoy the sunshine, not to mention killer views at Jill's Umbrella Bar. Après starts at 2:30 p.m. THE DRAW: Copper's only outdoor umbrella bar.
Jack's Bar
Center Village- In a traditional sports bar setting, Jack's serves up burgers and live music Wednesday through Saturday from 3:30-6 p.m. THE DRAW: Easy, fun atmosphere and live music from Lefty Lucy, a modern country band that plays both covers of the hits, as well as a few originals, four afternoons a week.
JJ's Rocky Mountain Tavern
East Village at Copper Station- JJ's is home to what the staff calls the “quintessential” après-ski experience. Join the party with a ski shot — shots for the group served up in an old ski. You may find yourself dancing on the bar as Summit County institution and guitar wizard Moe Dixon rocks the joint. Live music five days a week from 3:15-5:30 p.m. THE DRAW: Ski shots and a Southwestern inspired menu that can only be described as barbecue with class.
Endo's Adrenaline Cafe
Base of Copper's Main Village- A favorite with younger crowds and locals, Endo's off ers a sports bar setting with awesome views of the mountain. From the outdoor seating, guests can enjoy daily drink specials while watching skiers and snowboarders fi nish their last runs. THE DRAW: Endo's serves a famously huge plate of nachos, which can be ordered with steak, chicken or just veggies.
The Swivel
Center Village- A comfortable evening awaits skiers and riders at the Swivel, a higher-end bar and American-style restaurant. Enjoy one of the extensive selections of beers on tap inside or outside on the deck. THE DRAW: Great margaritas and 21 beers on tap.
KEYSTONE
9280River Run Village- A good day starts on the chair lift. A good night starts with a drink at 9280. Th e restaurant and bar offers a full selection of wines, beers, cocktails and house-made specials to be enjoyed inside or on the deck along with live music or a DJ. THE DRAW: House specialties, such as sangria or grape-infused vodka.
Dos Locos
One of the most popular Mexican après spots in town, Dos Locos is the place to find a fun, energetic atmosphere and cheap drinks. Daily afternoon happy hour means discounts on drinks and food specials. THE DRAW: A nightly fiesta not far from the lifts.
Great Northern Tavern
River Run Village, Keystone- Great Northern Tavern has taken high-end American cuisine, paired it with pub fare and unbeatable specials on beer ($2 microbrew pints during après hours) and settled it all in a tasteful mountain-inspired decor. Grab a seat by the fire or enjoy that clean mountain air on one of the two patios. THE DRAW: Great après deals on microbrews.
Kickapoo Tavern
River Run Village, Keystone- With a versatile menu ranging from barbecue and burritos to high quality steak, the Kickapoo Tavern off ers a true Old Western Colorado atmosphere. THE DRAW: Th e cooks are generous when it comes to the food portions, and the tavern off ers the opportunity to sample beers brewed locally.
Last Lift Bar
Mountain House Base Area- One of Keystone's older bars, Last Lift was recently voted one of the best après spots at the resort. Last Lift off ers daily food specials but doesn't feature a full menu. Th e bar features live music from 3-7 p.m., and Th e Swing Crew Band plays Last Lift through February and March. THE DRAW: In a quieter area near the mountain, so you're likely to find a seat.
