DanceGrass and Electrified Afro-funk in Summit County bars

Who: WhiteWater Ramble

When: Tuesday and Wednesday

Where: Snake River Saloon, Keystone

Where'd the name come from? Originally a song name representing multiple styles of music for "ramble" and WhiteWater comes from the Poudre River and hanging out at the Mishawaka Amphitheatre along that river for shows.

Home base: Fort Collins

Type of music: High-octane Rocky Mountain DanceGrass

If your music were a tangible item, what would it be, and why? Colorado weather, we're constantly changing styles.

Why do people love ya? High-energy, diversity in styles, danceable, original music but also fun takes on recognizable cover songs. Whether playing an intimate encore, acoustic and unplugged in the crowd, or surfing on top of the upright bass, WhiteWater Ramble delivers a powerful and memorable live performance.

How do you keep it fresh? On-going writing and arrangements, new cover songs, lots of improvisation, diversity in genres.

What's the craziest thing you've done/weirdest experience? Too many to list, but one good one is posing the bassist standing on top of his upright bass, on top of the van along the side of the highway near Whitefish, MT for some fun photos.

Who: The Motet

When: Wednesday

Where: three20south, Breckenridge

Where'd the name come from? It started as The Dave Watts Motet and got shortened from there.

If your music were a tangible item, what would it be, and why? Chocolate cake, because we make people smile.
