Where'd the name come from? Jade is one of the lead vocalists for Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. She is best known for their smash hit songs "Home" and "Fire Water (River of Love)"

Type of music: Indie rock

Made a name for self by: Jade, along with Edward Sharpe, has headlined many major festivals including the Snowball Festival in Spring 2011. Jade is best known for her incredibly brilliant vocal on the smash hit song "Home" that she co-penned and performed with Alex Ebert of the world-renowned indie-rock sensation Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. Jade has appeared on every major late night show with Edward Sharpe including Conan O'Brien, David Letterman, and Jimmy Kimmel. The band was also featured in Rolling Stone Magazine as well as FORD and NFL commercials. Selling out some of the biggest festivals like Bonnaroo and Coachella, they have played to millions of fans worldwide. Jade's unforgettable and heart-lifting vocals can be heard on tunes such as "Home," "Fire Water (River of Love)" and "Janglin." Fans from everywhere are flocking to her sold-out solo performances where Jade delivers her biggest hits, as well as material from her solo project (due to release in 2012). How do you keep it fresh? Never practice; we play with passion and from our heart.

What's the craziest thing you've done/weirdest experience? Playing at AOB because you never know what's gonna happen.

Where'd the name come from? The street we grew up on.
