Summit County Preschool hiring teachers
Summit County Preschool is now hiring teachers for our mixed-age classroom and pre-K. We are looking for a teacher who is lead-teacher qualified as well as Head Start qualified. Head Start qualifications require you have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or a related field. We are also taking applications for substitute teachers. We are a private nonprofit preschool, open year-round. We provide dental, health, 401k and scholarship opportunities for continuing education. Breckenridge Resource Recovery & Education Center open house Wednesday
High Country Conservation Center, Summit County government, Matthew Stais Architects and the Town of Breckenridge invite the public to attend an informal open house for the new Breckenridge Resource Recovery and Education Center (BRREC) on Wednesday, from 6-7:30 p.m., at the Breckenridge Recreation Center. Guests will have the opportunity to give their input on current and future plans for BRREC that include collection of traditional and hard-to-recycle materials, an education pavilion and community gardens. Dillon Business Association annual meeting set for Thursday
All business people doing business in the town of Dillon are invited to the annual meeting of the Dillon Business Association on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Dillon branch of U.S. Bank at 704 E. Anemone Trail in Dillon. Information about the DBA and what it does for Dillon businesses will be presented and new board members will be elected. Anyone wishing to nominate themselves or others for board positions should email info@dillondba.org as soon as possible. Nominations will also be taken from the floor. Town of Frisco encourages nonprofits to apply for Nonprofit Partnership Program
The Town of Frisco is proud to announce another way for nonprofits to get involved with the Frisco community and generate funds. The town invites nonprofits to review the Nonprofit Event Fundraising Opportunity available at www.townoffrisco.com/nonprofits section. This opportunity is for nonprofits of all sizes, to sell refreshments at 10 of our summer events. The opportunities include eight Thursday night Concerts in the Park and the Fourth of July Festival. ‘Dinner For Phil' on Tuesday

Miss the Spiritual Diversity & Power of Myth series?
Visit High Country Unitarian Universalist Fellowship's Sunday service on Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Lord of the Mountains Church in Dillon. Facilitators Maria Cheng and Melanie Sloan will share the inspiration for and the lessons learned from the movie-and-discussion series. As an ice princess you are asked to collect as many votes for yourself as possible. For a valid vote you need $1 for every vote. The princess with the most money (most votes) will be crowned the 2012 Summit County Ice Princess. Important dates to attend: Ice Melt kickoff date: TBD; ice melt device launch party on Dillon Reservoir — April 7 and the Crowning of the 2012 Ice Princess at the Silverthorne Pavilion Rotary Potluck dinner meeting. Cast of Characters sleigh ride set for Feb. 15
Join LDTC's Cast of Characters on a dash through the snow to raise friends, fun and funds for our wonderful professional theater company. The festivities will begin on Feb. 15 at 4:30 p.m. with a sleigh ride provided by “2 Below Zero,” followed by a heart-warming chili supper (with cornbread and hot and adult beverages) at a Frisco home. Current 2012 members pay $40. “About to be” 2012 members pay $50 and become 2012 “characters” on the spot.
